Otakar "Vend" Vindys (April 9, 1889 – December 23, 1949) was a Czechoslovak/Bohemian ice hockey player.
Biography[]
Known for his fast skating, Vindys initially played bandy hockey with I. CLTK Praha, starting his career in 1902. He would however spend most of his club career playing ice hockey with SK Slavia Praha.
Internationally, he was a member of the Bohemian National Team and later the Czechoslovak National Team. Vindys played at seven European Championships, the 1913 LIHG Championship, and the Olympic Games in 1920 and 1924. He also appeared at Bohemia's first international tournament - the 1909 Coupe de Chamonix.
He also played tennis for I. CLTK Praha.
