1977-78 DDR-Bestenermittlung season

The 1977-78 DDR-Bestenermittlung season was the eighth edition of the unofficial competition formed after the restructuring of East German hockey in 1970. Eight teams participated in the tournament, held in March 1978, which was won by BSG Monsator Berlin.
