The 1936-37 Tatra Cup was the 12th edition of the tournament.

The national tournament (also known as the Pohár Palace sanatoria Dr. Szontagha) was played from December 26-27, 1936, in Novy Smokovec. The international tournament was not held this year.[1]

HC Tatry won the tournament, claiming the cup permanently.

The preliminary round was intended to be divided into two groups. Group I: HC Tatry, AC Nova Ves, SK Spisske Podhradie. Group II: 1.CsSK Bratislava, Vorwarts Kezmarok, AC Nitra.
